When we complained to the waiter about the food quality (the waiter and the service were otherwise good!), he replied that "he isn't in charge of the kitchen." All in all, a very disappointing visit - never again! When told to our Russian friend who recommended the place, he agreed that it used to be good when they opened up, but since then it went downhill. The fish was deep fried in oil, and it tasted like the oil was used for deep frying many times before. Mussels were in some kind of white sauce that tasted more like diluted hollandaise than the typical white wine sauce that is usual with mussels. For the main course, some of us ordered mussels, a friend ordered Sr. 219 The Scotch Cringe, 193 Three Wise Men, 491 The French Old Fashioned.
It was a clear soup (tasted like made from cubes) with a few pieces of boiled shrimp floating in it. Two of us ordered the fish soup "Bouillabaisse", which reminded of anything but the real Bouillabaisse. All of us were very disappointed by the food's quality. Wise is known for its Breakfast, Coffee and Tea, Crepes, Dinner, Hamburgers, Pizza, Salads, Sandwiches, Shakes, Smoothies and Juices, Soup, Sushi, and Wraps.
